MV Transportation Appoints Lisa Winston as General Counsel

Today, MV Transportation, Inc., the largest passenger transportation contracting firm based in the United States announced Ms. Lisa Winston has joined the company as General Counsel and will join MV Transportation's executive team. Winston is based out of MV's Corporate Headquarters in Dallas.

Prior to joining MV, Winston served as Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Energy Future Holdings Corp., a privately held Dallas-based energy company with a portfolio of competitive and regulated energy businesses and operating revenues of approximately $10 billion last year. In her role at EFH, she managed corporate governance, employment litigation and counseling, compliance and corporate security matters. Winston also spent a portion of her career in public service, having worked in the U.S. Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division and Office of the Deputy Attorney General, as well as in the White House as Associate Counsel to the President of the United States.

Winston earned her bachelor's degree from Stanford University, her J.D. degree cum laude from Harvard Law School and is Iicensed to practice law in California, the District of Columbia and Texas. Winston was featured in D Magazine's 2002 list of Best Lawyers Under 40, is an alum of Leadership Dallas and served on the Board of Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas from 1999 – 2006.
