Winnie Roach Oliphant lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband, George. They have one son. Winnie is a member of NAACP, Telephone Committee for the Women Chorus Contralto Section, and Secretary for the Women on a Mission. She is also a proud member of the Anointed Women chorus.

Winnie enjoys reading, riding her bicycle, singing, making souvenir booklets, and uplifting others.
