Town and County is rounding off its 100th year celebrations this year and, as part of the festivities, is encouraging those in the local area to share images and memorabilia from the past century.

The car dealer based in Aberdeen, Scotland, was founded in 1908 and began trading in 1911. Throughout its time, the business has offered customers across North East Scotland a selection of franchises including Lotus, Mazda, Rolls Royce, Subaru, Bentley, Rover, Izuzu, SEAT Austin Morris and Jaguar. Town and County now supplies the full range of Honda and Porsche models, as well as boasting the largest display of manufacturer-approved 4x4 Land Rovers in the UK.

To celebrate its long and successful history, Town and County is posting historic images of motoring in Aberdeen over the past century on the company Facebook page, and is looking for help from residents of Aberdeen, both past and present, with the campaign.

Photographs and memorabilia of Town and County, its service stations or any of its subsidiary companies, which include Aberdeen Land Rover Centre, Aberdeen Trucks, Aberdeen Motors, J M Forbes, Airport Mazda and Corner Garage, can be posted on the Facebook page as part of the 'Memorabilia May' competition. To enter, users simply have to like and share any historic image posted during May, and can win a free valet for their vehicle.

Athol Strachan, managing director at Town and County said, "We would welcome any pictures memorabilia, window stickers etc. from any of [these businesses]."

The lucky winner of the Memorabilia May competition will be announced on the Town and County Facebook page on 1st June.
