The Corporate Presence, a Wall Street firm which since 1981 has supplied investment bankers with Lucite deal commemoratives (commonly known as "tombstones" or "deal toys" ) announces the launch of Scholarly Awards, a recognition division specifically focused on colleges and universities. Scholarly Awards is an eComm website supported by a total internet presence, including an informational blog entitled Achievement in Action and a full battery of social media properties.

"We're by no means new to the college and university market", explains Joe Reynolds, Sales Director at The Corporate Presence. "In fact, we've been providing Lucite and crystal awards to the colleges and universities under The Corporate Presence banner for over 30 years". "What's different now", Reynolds explains, "is that we're offering via the site and the Scholarly Awards brand a really practical selection of core designs. Of course, we'll still continue to offer as well the kind of customized designs our university client have really come to love".

Scholarly Awards intends to become the hub for information on academic awards, events and recipients; a planning resource for those who organize academic events; a reporting source for notable happenings within the world of academia; as well as highlight many additional aspects of the academic sector. The site offers a broad spectrum of new and innovative award designs and an easy-to-use online ordering system. A knowledgeable support staff is easily accessible for those requiring custom and/or rush orders and on hand to field questions on design, pricing and services available in all areas of academic recognition awards.

"We noticed a wealth of generic information on awards, but very little specifically addressing the recognition needs of colleges and universities", said David Parry, Senior Account Executive of The Corporate Presence. Some of the initial articles on ScholarlyAwards.com included: 7 Tips for Writing Faculty, Student, and Staff Award Inscriptions, How Social Media is Changing Awards Ceremonies, and 10 Truly Quotable Faculty Award Recipients.

Already off to a strong start, Scholarly Awards has designed a vast portfolio of awards for recipients across a broad field of achievement to include donor recognition, graduation awards, speaker awards, alumni awards, banquet awards and student-athlete awards for institutions such as Stanford University, Brown University and Columbia University.
