"The Story of Ceres", a new book by Jenn E. Russell, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

Dana is a typical college student with her own brand of quirks and idiosyncrasies. But what makes her unusual is the assortment of tragedies that have marked her for nineteen years. It started with the absence of love from her mother, being a victim of rape, making Dana the product of rape. Then the death of her grandmother whom she was close to, followed by the death of her young cousin, whom she thought the world of. All these heartrending events happen to this troubled woman even before she reaches college. All of the emotions involved in these tragedies she has tried to suppress and deny even to herself. Yet all of the repressed sorrow comes crashing down on Dana the day her mother dies. And with the help of a mysterious man who only appears when death is near, Dana will come to realize and acknowledge that she does have feelings, even if she doesn't like them.
