NEW ENGLAND ROPES HIRES LARS ANDERSSON

New England Ropes, the leading manufacturer of premium quality rope since 1967 welcomes new hire Lars Andersson as our Market Manager for the Arborist, Industrial and Utility, and Equine Market Segments.

Lars joins New England Ropes from GE Engergy where he most recently worked as a Quality Integration Leader. As the leader of a single quality team, Lars identified opportunities for synergies, uncovered bottlenecks and inefficiences, and pinpointed cost cutting initiatives.

Lars is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has managed a team of 10 black belts and has certified 15 Black Belts and 150 Green Belts. His efforts in this capacity have resulted in over $15M is cost savings, productivity, and cost avoidance.

In addition, Lars has worked as a Sales Engineer, Project Leader, and Project Manager also for GE.

Lars obtained his MBA from Case Western Reserve University and he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both Mechanical Engineering and Biology from the University of Massachusetts and the Univeristy of New Hampshire respectively.
