Using VAC-U-MAX's New Portable MDL1050 as an Industrial Central Vacuum Cleaning System Significantly Reduces Costs

(PRLEAP.COM) For manufacturing, processing and packaging environments where an industrial central vacuum cleaning system is needed but could be cost prohibitive, VAC-U-MAX's new MDL1050 portable continuous duty industrial vacuum cleaner is the ideal alternative at about half the purchase price of central vacuum system and lower operating costs. VAC-U-MAX, pioneer in manufacturing heavy-duty industrial vacuums and industrial central vacuum cleaning systems, has been providing organizations with vacuum technology that fits their needs for nearly 60 years.
VAC-U-MAX's MDL1050 can support up to 200 feet of tubing allowing one, two, or three operators to utilize local tubing networks in multiple areas rather than having to install and maintain giant piping networks throughout a plant. Because the vacuum is moved closer to the debris, instead of sucking debris back to a central location, lower horsepower motors are used providing overall energy savings.
In environments where combustible dust is present, the 1050 for combustible dust can exponentially increases savings. Often, in combustible dust environments, an industrial central vacuum cleaning system would need to be outside with additional explosion protection equipment, which can get quite costly; however, because VAC-U-MAX's MDL1050 is under 8 cubic feet in volume, the unit meets NFPA requirements for use in Class II, Div 2 environments, and can still function as a breakaway industrial central vacuum cleaning system.
The 1050 is the next generation of VAC-U-MAX's MDL1020. Two of the most significant improvements of the 1050 are the unit's increased filter capacity-100 percent more- which enhances the ability to handle finer powders, filter them more efficiently, and therefore reduces the load on the vacuum producer; and, the new unique atmospheric blowback system.
Reducing the load on the vacuum producer puts more power to the end of the hose, giving the operator more power for an extended period of time than in the past.
In the past, providing larger filter capacity was a challenge because it meant that although the vacuum was electric powered, an umbilical cord to a compressed air supply was necessary to pulse clean the filters. Now, the unique atmospheric blowback system allows users to clean the filters without compressed air and without having to turn off the vacuum, increasing productivity and reducing wear and tear on the motor.
Another productivity advantage of the new atmospheric blowback system on the VAC-U-MAX 1050 is the ability to have the motor continue running while users change out filled drums or hoppers.
The combination of the product enhancements listed above, and the improved silencing exhaust system make the 1050 the quietest continuous duty industrial vacuum in the industry. "We've always been known for our low noise level and we just knocked it down another 5 dB," says David Kennedy, GM of the Vacuum Cleaning Division at VAC-U-MAX.
On par with making its products safer for workers, VAC-U-MAX has increased the diameter of the front wheels from 10 inches to 14 inches, and replaced the single 8-inch caster on the rear with a duel 8-inch swivel caster, making the unit more maneuverable for a single operator.
Available for combustible and non-combustible materials, the new VAC-U-MAX 1050 continuous duty vacuum, offered with 10 or 15 horsepower, has 100 percent more filter area, enhanced suction, quieter operation, improved maneuverability, and increases productivity.
