From early August, families can witness a summer celebration like no other at the annual Gràcia Street Festival in Barcelona. Taking place from 3rd-17th August, it sees each street in the up-town area of Gràcia transformed on a grand scale as they compete to win the coveted name of best decorated street. Each chooses a theme - ranging from mad hatter's tea party to under the sea - for its elaborate street decorations, demonstrations, street performers and live music for the whole family to enjoy.

The festival is only a short trip from Eurocamp's Vilanova Park, with daily tours on offer from the parc to the city centre. Alternatively, the fabulous city is just a 30 minute car journey away - or can be accessed via train with the nearest railway station two miles from the campsite - making Vilanova an ideal base for a city break. Another summer attraction is nearby PortAventura, a popular theme park with special events, and shows that attract thousands of visitors year after year.
