World leading companies to showcase the latest products, developments and innovations at Middle East Electricity 2005.

(PRLEAP.COM) The 30th Middle East Electricity Exhibition, from March 6th - 9th 2005, is on course to be the biggest ever. Already over 85% sold out, there is intense demand for the remaining floor space. "Exhibitors know this is the one place in the Middle East where the global electricity industry meets to conduct serious business,’ said Sarah Woodbridge, Exhibition Director, IIR Exhibitions Middle East. "This, combined with exhibitor demand and visitor interest (plus the rapidly evolving nature of the industry) led to the show taking place on an annual basis from 2003.’

"We are totally committed to the continued development of Middle East Electricity in line with the needs of the region, the business objectives of exhibitors and the specific requirements of visitors. For example, following in-depth discussions with our business partners, arenas dedicated to the latest innovations from the Lighting, Power Generation and New & Renewable Energy sectors were introduced in 2003. Designed to maximise the quality and effectiveness of the exhibition, these proved to be an outstanding success and are continually being further refined and expanded to meet demand,’ added Woodbridge.

The 2004 exhibition, which covered 15,580 sq. m. of floor space, showcased over 400 product sectors, featured 700 exhibitors from 43 countries, 15 national/industry pavilions, and attracted almost 17,000 industry professionals from 79 countries.

In 2005 the event will once again have the very latest that the industry has to offer with the worlds leaders using Middle East Electricity Exhibition as a platform to announce significant new product launches, developments and innovations to a high quality audience. This will, as always, include the region’s senior decision makers who regard the event as the only significant industry showcase in the Middle East.

The unique depth and focus of Middle East Electricity is the result of extensive on-going research and the close relationships that the organisers, IIR Exhibitions, have established with key Governmental, industry and business partners throughout the world. In total, there will be over 400 product areas on display at the 2005 event, with the largest ever country pavilion from Italy already confirmed.

Market leaders at Middle East Electricity 2005 will include The Legrand Group (with its largest ever presence), Lucy Switchgear, Novar International, Perkins Engines, Cummins Diesel, LG, and Coopers. Two of the world’s leading lighting companies, Philips and Osram, are among the global names supporting the dedicated Lighting Arena.

Middle East Electricity Exhibition and Conference will be held from the 6th to 9th March 2005 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
