"The Pink Cat in the Window", a new book by Catherine Elio, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

In "The Pink Cat in the Window," a mysterious pink cat brings joy to a young girl in rehabilitation for her injured leg. On her journeys to and from the doctor, the girl looks forward to her glimpses of the pink cat, which she espies in a window several stories above the street. Soon her parents and even her doctor become curious about this pink cat. They can hardly believe such a creature exists, and they all want to meet this very special cat.

About the Author:
Catherine Elio, mother of three sons, lives in New York with her husband, John, of forty years. They share their home with two adopted cats and two dogs. She enjoys painting, crocheting, singing, and gardening. She is an active member of the American Diabetes Association and the Humane Society. Her son, John, an animal activist, passed away due to complications from diabetes. A portion of the book sales will be donated to the ASPCA in her son's name.
