There-Go I, a new book by Dorothy S. Boekemeier, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

Lee Shields is a wife to a disreputable husband, a daughter-in-law to a domineering mother-in-law, and a dedicated teacher. She is confronted with tribulations at school, with a lazy colleague who is more predisposed to sweep her work onto Lee, and guiding her brilliant but troubled student who can be very volatile and has no one else who believes in him. And though we say a home is a place of refuge, it is not the case with Lee. Confronted almost daily with the verbal and physical abuse from her husband and mother-in-law, Lee found the fortitude to stay sane and true to herself and her morals. Taking the abuse one time too many, and after making sure that her treasured student be recognized for his brilliance, she acquired the courage to search for her own happiness, despite the continued tug of her fears and uncertainties, in a future that holds promise.
