Gainesville Poet Publishes New Book
Gainesville, Florida September 26, 2012 Entertainment News(PRLEAP.COM) "Spitting Out Poetic Tales", a new book by Frank Suskin, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.
"When I spit out poetic tales,
I listen to Rock N Roll.
The room fills with thoughts of poetic
imagery and fantasy.
The words flow into deep pockets of
Philosophy of my life in peace and war.
Where blues mix with highlites of
beauty in colors.
And the end survives in hope for more poetic tales."
Frank Suskin was born in Brooklyn, New York in March 1945. He grew up in Miami, Florida, and graduated Miami High School in 1963. He joined the army for three years and spent one year in Vietnam, from June 1966 to June 1967. He married his wife, Marian thirty-three years ago.
He has written poetry for about forty years, but this is his first book to be published. Vietnam, Bob Dylan, and his "Lady Marian" inspire him to write. He feels it has always been easier to express his feelings in poetry than in conversation.
His hobbies include watching sports on TV and listening to rock n roll music. "Sometimes thoughts pop out and inspire me to write," he says.
"Spitting Out Poetic Tales" is a 134-page hardcover with a retail price of $15.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-7399-3. It was published by RoseDog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
