About the Author:
Gary Erwin has been a summer camp counselor and has spent 20 years in Boy Scouting, first as a small boy and finally as a trainer of adult leaders. He perfected his storytelling during those years. He started by retelling stories as a young boy that his father had told to him and his sister. He believes he inherited his storytelling abilities. Gary's mother helped him develop a love for reading.

Gary Erwin is a 63-year-old native Texan and has listened to stories from all around Texas all his life. He likes hunting, fishing, camping, camp cooking and stories. His children and grandchildren love his stories.

Gary has read that Louis L'Amour used to say that he was a storyteller, not a writer. "I guess that pretty well describes me as well," Erwin says.

"Tales of the Old Crippled Hunter" is a 138-page paperback with a retail price of $16.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-3062-0. It was published by RoseDog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
