The Blade Systems Alliance (BladeS) recently launched its new logo and website at http://www.bladesystems.org. “We are revamping the website in order to better facilitate the services that our members have come to expect from the Blade Systems Alliance”, said Carrie Higbie, the organization’s president. In line with its goal to advance blade application and adoption, the new website incorporates an eLearning Center that aggregates webcasts, white papers, articles, case studies, and publications on the subject matter. The group further anticipates addition to this section ROI and TCO models that address adoption of modular and blade-based computing systems.

The Blade Systems Alliance is a forum for end users, consultants, and vendors who are interested in the deployment and application of blade systems. It promotes multi-vendor standards for modular systems management and racking, works with the user community to address real-world data center and advanced computing issues, and delivers information, programs and forums to educate and inform. BladeS is an alliance partner of DMTF (Distributed Management Task Force) and an affiliate of SNUG (Storage Networking User Group).
