U.S. HIGHWAY BILL SPARKS CALL FOR GREATER EFFICIENCY - HOT SHOT TRUCKING READY TO HELP CUSTOMERS SCALE UP OR DOWN

October 11, 2012 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Houston, Texas - As reported by various trucking industry journals, the U.S. Department of Transportation is encouraging truckers and trucking companies to participate in discussions about freight efficiency, in order to prepare for parts of the recently passed Highway Bill. The DOT is conducting discussions on that part of the bill called Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century, or "MAP-21." With its efficiencies in how customers can easily scale up or down to find the transportation they need, Hot Shot Trucking stands ready to do its part for MAP-21.

The DOT seeks input about freight efficiency, to make sure they take aspects like truck parking, size, weight and other issues into account when the new bill takes effect in October.
