How To Write and Implement a Comprehensive Positive Discipline Program: A Guide for School Personnel, a new book by Rachel Jenkins Montford, Ed.D., has been released by RoseDog Books.

How To Write and Implement a Comprehensive Positive Discipline Program: A Guide for School Personnel is the first published book of its kind. This instructional book shows school personnel how to write a program that will enable them to organize, plan, implement, and monitor a comprehensive discipline program that leads to students' academic success, attendance improvement, and positive behavior and attitude.

The author used the Comprehensive Positive Discipline Plan she wrote for her doctoral program to help her create the PBIS program guide, which is a reward model plan based on B.F. Skinner's theory. The successful result of using the plan in her study inspired the author to write this instructional book so other school personnel can benefit throughout the world.

Based on the research and theory used, this instructional book is a simple guide that can be used to help school personnel create a positive behavior program for the classrooms and other areas within the school building. The author believes this book can empower school personnel and enhance their knowledge for ultimate improvement in any area for which they are experiencing difficulties.
