American Photographic Artists APA Elects 2013 Officers

NEW YORK – October 31, 2012 – With hurricane Sandy at their heels and the PDN PhotoPlus Expo successfully behind them, the American Photographic Artists carried on and elected their new officers that will all take office in calendar year 2013, in a meeting in New York City on Sunday, October 28th, 2012.

"It's quite an honor to have been elected by my fellow photographers as Senior National Vice President of an organization as prestigious as the APA," states Ric Kasnoff who was elected to his second term and is a member of APA Northwest. "I will do my best to warrant the trust and confidence."

The results of this meeting and election are as follows:

Newly elected officers to a two-year term:
Lee White - APA National Secretary - from APA Los Angeles chapter - His first term
Andrew Strauss - APA National Treasurer - from APA Los Angeles chapter - His first term
John Durant - APA National Vice President - from APA San Diego chapter - His first term

Lee White is an advertising and editorial photographer and photo instrucor based in Van Nuys and is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and owner of Lee White Photography.

Andrew Strauss is a travel, fine art, studio and portrait photographer based in Los Angeles and is a graduate of the Santa Monica College and owner of Strauss Studio.

John Durant is an editorial, architecture and fine art photographer based in San Diego and is a graduate and current instructor at the University of California, San Diego.
