BATON ROUGE DESIGNER VENTURES INTO THE BUSINESS OF MEMORIES

BATON ROUGE, LA – Chuck Sanchez, owner of STUN Design and Advertising (www.stundesign.net), has begun a new, web-based venture – PrintedBig.com.
The concept of PrintedBig.com is a simple one. Take digital or printed photos, enlarge them and print them on archival, water-resistant canvas using non-fading inks. The finishing touch comes in the form of the canvas being gallery-wrapped on a one and a half inch deep, handmade wood frame.
“PrintedBig.com was started because I wanted to offer people a way to turn their memories into masterpieces,” Sanchez said. “We can take digital photographs, photographs developed from film or negative based images and recreate them on canvas in color, black & white or sepia toned with vibrant, archival inks that have been tested to last over 100 years.”
One of PrintedBig.com’s greatest assets is the fact that it is a web-based business, according to Sanchez.
“PrintedBig.com is easy to navigate and has been designed for a flawless web-purchasing experience,” Sanchez said. “The best part is that the site is open 24 hours a day, so regardless of when you have the time to make your purchase, you can do so.”
PrintedBig.com is located in downtown Baton Rouge and photos can be uploaded to the website, mailed or dropped off at STUN’s offices.
In addition to submitting family photos, artistic photos, recreational photos or pet photos, visitors to PrintedBig.com can also explore an art gallery where original works from designers, illustrators and photographers from all over the world are displayed and available for purchase.
“Any piece can be printed on any canvas ranging in sizes from 8x10 to 40x40,” Sanchez said. “We also offer other services such as reproducing original artwork.”
PrintedBig.com has a staff that can digitally retouch images, add design elements or perform custom illustrations to pieces, among other services.
“With a click of a button you have an instant, high quality piece of art for your home, your office, or to give away as a gift,” Sanchez said. “You are only limited by your creativity.”
Since beginning STUN Design and Advertising in 2004, Sanchez has expanded his firm beyond the borders of Baton Rouge and Louisiana itself. In under a year’s time, he has gained clients in six additional states. STUN has clients in Louisiana, Texas, Maine, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Alabama and Mississippi.
