Santa Rosa, CA - November 12, 2012 - Have you ever looked at a bottle in a wine shop a wondered, "is this really a good deal?" Well, now there's an app for that. Today, Brainstorm Creative, a software application design and development consultancy, announced its first commercial app called the Yno Wizard. The "Wizard" is a wine app that focuses on three primary wine functions: searching, shopping, and sharing. Competing wine apps offer similar features, but the Wizard is designed for speed and quality of results. For instance, a user in a store simply scans a bottle bar code and within seconds compares prices from up to dozens of online retailers. If so inclined, they can even buy from within the app.

In addition, the Wizard offers superior search that concentrates on popular, available wines from four open APIs, vs. other apps that use their own subjective lists or just one API. Searches are filtered by phrase, wine type, and price. The Wizard's approach to shopping is easy as well. A user in a store simply scans a bottle bar code and within seconds compares prices from up to dozens of online retailers. If so inclined, they can even buy from within the app.

"The focus is on what is most useful to consumers from a mobile wine app whether they're buying in a wine shop, ordering in a restaurant, or tasting at home," said Bill Langley, Developer and Principal at Brainstorm Creative.

Yno Wizard for Android is available for download at Google Play. An iOS version is expected Q1 2013.
