San Diego, CA — The Ticket Relief Online Traffic School and Defensive Driving Course has announced the successful conclusion of its 2012 "Giving Back" charity campaign, as the preferred choice for satisfying traffic school on the Internet has teamed up with the organizers of a new race series making a profound impact in the U.S.: the Awesome '80s Run.

Ticket Relief sponsored Nicole Ferreira and Renee Albanez, residents of the San Diego area, as they, along with close over 3,500 runners, participated in the Awesome '80s Run event held at Fiesta Island, which raised money for San Diego Youth Services, a charity that is near and dear to the heart of Kenneth Nwadike, Jr., the CEO of Superhero Events.

Nwadike is the brainchild behind the Awesome '80s Run series. Kenneth's desire to change the running event industry has only just begun. When asked where he found the inspiration to start this series, Kenneth said, "I recently celebrated my 30th birthday with an '80s theme at a roller skating rink with close friends and family members. We had such a great time that I wanted to share this experience with all of my running friends. Now, I'm overjoyed that thousands of runners all over the country will get to share this incredible experience with me along the way."

The Awesome '80s Run benefits local youth homeless shelters in each of its host cities.

"This is a great opportunity for us to help homeless teens in major metropolitan cities in the United States. The excitement and social buzz that the event creates will increase awareness in areas where homelessness is a major issue," said Sabrina Nwadike, the Vice President of Superhero Events.
