Kerry Dunn, who is often compared to Elmore Leonard, Don Winslow and Dennis Lehane, makes his first appearance at the CitiPlace Barnes & Noble to promote his neo-noir thriller JOE PEACE.

Joe is an Austin Police Department detective with a bad cocaine habit in a disastrous affair with his female partner, eventually entering rehab and exiting as a member of the local drug gangs.

As a drug lord, Joe Peace owns Los Diablos, a night club for people who doeth their deeds in secret. So it goes that this Baton Rouge resident has unusual author events that sometimes resemble a speakeasy. No two events are identical, though lounge singers, bouncers, and burlesque queens who read with Dunn are often in the mix.

The CitiPlace B&N is located at 2590 CitiPlace Court, Baton Rouge, LA.

You may reserve your copy of Joe Peace by calling CitiPlace B&N at 225-926-2600. For more information visit www.bn.com, or www.facebook.com/AuthorKerryDunn.
