"The Archimedes File," a new book by R.A. Parish, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

We have fallen deeply in love with their charms. While doing so, we did not realize we were slowly stripping ourselves of our own humanity. Now, in the year 2302, the computers decided they have seen enough and finally succeeded taking over humanity.

Not long after this time, two humans-Elisha and Eleanor-approach adulthood, barely aware of their ancient human heritage. In the course of their routine service to do the Computer Congress's bidding, however, the two stumble upon information and communication links that throw light upon the history of their kind and the nature of their existence.

Elisha and Eleanor also realize that not only are they a class apart and above their own kind, but that an intelligent human community exists outside the confines of their computer-policed city.

Now, questions burn in their own minds: Can they outsmart the computers and find freedom? More importantly, can they ever sustain themselves living outside?
