The property at 1100 Wilshire has found new life as Los Angeles’ first modern skyscraper to be converted to condominiums. Now the tallest residential structure in Los Angeles, 1100 Wilshire has chosen Bel Air Internet to launch their new Downtown Los Angeles luxury lofts into the next technological era.

According to Terry Koosed, President of Bel Air Internet, “We were chosen because we are the only company able to provide the latest in communication services combined with old fashioned neighborhood service.” At the forefront of the wireless Industry, Bel Air Internet is the first company with the ability to implement wireless Internet, television and telephone services. Residents of 1100 Wilshire will have access to a high-definition television signal (HDTV), true broadband Internet access and Telephone/VoIP service in both their lofts, as well as the common areas of the building such as the lush pool deck on the 17th floor.

The developers behind the building boom of lofts and commercial development in Downtown Los Angeles, are more aware than ever of the need for premium technological services within their properties. Koosed acknowledges that, “When expending such time and money in not only developing properties, but also creating an entire downtown metropolis, it is important to the developers that their buildings are ‘Future-Proofed’, that even in this fast-moving technological era, their properties will stand the test of time.”

Bel Air Internet has the innovative technology and the “know how” that allow these developers to do just that. Being at the forefront of research and development in the Wireless Internet Industry, Bel Air Internet is not only able to provide properties with today’s most technologically advanced services, but to ensure that those properties are equipped to deliver tomorrow’s technology, as well. Bel Air Internet has made it possible to convert the previously sleepy downtown into a collection of properties with the most comprehensive technology, making Los Angeles, a true, modern, metropolis.

Due to the recent Adaptive Reuse Ordinance (ARO) that allows the conversion of vacant commercial buildings into residential space, it is certain that high-rise residential developments will grow exponentially in Los Angeles. Bel Air Internet is an active member of the Central City Association of Los Angeles that it is particularly known for its groundbreaking work on developing the ARO. In addition to 1100 Wilshire, Bel Air Internet is also the Communications and Technological Provider, for numerous other Downtown developments including, The Biscuit Lofts and The Toy Factory Lofts (Linear City Developers), the Eastern Columbia Lofts and the Molino Street Lofts (The Kor Group), and the Brockman (Salter Group).
