Ballet in Cleveland Presents Ballet Master Class with Allison DeBona

Don't miss out on a ballet experience of a lifetime! Join Ballet in Cleveland on March 2nd, 2013 for an exclusive ballet master class taught by Ballet West and CW's hit series Breaking Pointe dancer Allison DeBona at the Gund Dance Studio at Playhouse Square along with legendary ballet class accompanist John Parkinson.

There will be two classes with a Q&A session with DeBona after each class:
10:00am – 11:30am 8-12 year olds
1:30pm – 3:00pm 13 – 18 year olds (college-aged dances may also register for this class)

Along with the class and Q&A sessions, the $150 registration fee includes an autographed headshot of DeBona, a photograph with DeBona, a Ballet in Cleveland dance bag, a Ballet in Cleveland water bottle, a nutrition bar from Real Food Barre including a meet and greet with Real Food Barre founders Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre principal dancer Julia Erickson and Aaron Ingley and more!

About Allison DeBona
Allison DeBona was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After earning a Bacheler of Science degree from Indiana University she spent one year with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's Graduate Program. In 2007, she joined Ballet West and was promoted to Demi-Soloist in 2011. Allison has trained with The Parou Ballet Company under Debbie Parou, followed by the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet under Jean Gedeon.

Her current repertoire includes: World premiere of Susan Shields' Grand Synthesis; Michael Smuin's The Tempest; Mark Morris' Gong; Stanton Welch's Madame Butterfly; Michel Fokine's Polovetsian Dances; the world premiere of Peggy Dolkas' "Yes, But How Did You Get There?"; the world premiere of Nicolo Fonte's The Immeasurable Cadences Within; Adam Sklute's newly conceived and produced Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty; John Butler's Carmina Burana; Jiri Kylian's Sinfonietta; Nicolo Fonte's Bolero; and the 2011 world premieres of Tom Mattingly's Fall Into Loving Arms and Avichai Scher's White Noise. Her Balanchine repertoire includes Agon, Prodigal Son, Serenade, Stars and Stripes, Chaconne, and The Four Temperaments.
