"Five Days in the Life of Lucretia Parker," a new book by Felipe de Lucio Pezet, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

It was the best life a young girl could aspire to: marrying a mature and stable man.

Feeling an empty life with a husband who only cares to work, Lucretia Parker found herself magically in love with a younger man, Jorge Luis Patiño. He's an engineer, dreaming, expressive, and lovably childish. She idolized him for his love of his country, for the future that he wished to create.

Torn between her new-found happiness and her responsibility as a wife and a mother of two, Lucretia had to choose the best for herself, all the time questioning if she really had made the right choice.

Based from her diary and the help of her daughter, Norma, Lucio paints scenarios of a sweet love between two beings separated only by distance.

"Five Days in the Life of Lucretia Parker," by Felipe de Lucio Pezet, is a heart-pinching love story in wrongful timing.

Felipe de Lucio Pezet is a Peruvian who studied engineering at Michigan Technological University and pursued his master's degree at the University of Arizona. Prior to his education in the United States, he received his degree in mining engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria (UNI) in Lima, Peru.
