The Missing Ink MMORPG - Now Accepts Bitcoin Payments

March 28, 2013 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
UK MMO games developer RedBedlam now accepts Bitcoin as a payment option for free-to-play MMORPG - The Missing Ink.

RedBedlam was among the first MMO developers to eschew the subscription business model for MMO games back in 2006 with their historical MMORPG Roma Victor.

Fast forward to 2013 and RedBedlam is again at the forefront of virtual economics and virtual currencies with the adoption of the peer-to-peer crypto-currency Bitcoin.

Kerry Fraser-Robinson, RedBedlam's CEO, commented: "We're delighted to support Bitcoin. We believe in the virtual currency and we think, as an Indie games developer, that this is exactly the type of payment option we should offer to players of The Missing Ink and also future games we have in development."

RedBedlam is the first MMO developer to offer Bitcoin as a payment option for in-game credits and has ensured that Bitcoins represent the best value-for-money for players buying in-game credits.

You can purchase in-game credits for The Missing Ink using Bitcoin via the games online shop – www.missing-ink.com/shop

The Missing Ink is currently in Open Beta. You can play the game for free right now via the browser or by downloading a PC or Mac game client.
