"Leaves of Autumn: A Collection of Poems," a new book by Debbie Milan, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

Today's children are often not part of a family unit. The next generation lives many miles from parents and needs to be connected with their roots. For this reason, the poems are written so that others may know of another time and the richness of rural life in Wisconsin.

There's something for everyone in the book. The poems, written from the heart, reflect Christian values, German heritage, personal experiences, and historic events. Several poems are for children. The book covers a time span of over 100 years.

About the Author:
Debbie Milan grew up on a small dairy farm in southeastern Wisconsin. She later worked in the insurance industry where she met her husband. Together, they have lived on both the East and West coasts, though they have always returned to their roots in the Midwest. Both are retired. She and her husband are very active in the administration of a food pantry. Having tithed for many years, the couple affirms that generosity begets prosperity, which in turn enables them to help others.

"Leaves of Autumn: A Collection of Poems" is a 124-page paperback with a retail price of $15.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-2839-9.
