WhaleRock Point Partners Announces Malcolm G. Chace Jr. is Joining Its Team

Providence, Rhode Island - May 1, 2013 - Providence investment advisor, WhaleRock Point Partners LLC., is proud to announce that Malcolm G. Chace Jr., has joined the firm effective April 1, 2013. Mr. Chace brings over 20 years of experience as an investment management professional and portfolio manager to WhaleRock.

Mr. Chace has a history of accomplishment in the investment industry. He began his career in Boston with Scudder, Stevens and Clark, before moving to Rhode Island in 1996 to join the Providence Investment Advisory Group. He later co-founded the Providence office for Baldwin Brothers in 1999, managing over $500 million in assets for high net worth individuals and institutions. In 2008 Malcolm joined Oppenheimer and Company as a managing director and portfolio manager. In each capacity, Malcolm was responsible for overall asset allocation decision making, portfolio construction and implementation. Malcolm graduated from Colby College with a BA in Economics and History in 1990.

Mr. Chace served on the boards of Women and Infants Hospital and the Providence Public Library. He continues to serve on the boards and investment committees of Meeting Street and Sophia Academy, and on the Head's Advisory Council at the Gordon School in East Providence.
