Temple, Texas Native Snags 2013 Indie Music Channel Awards

Hollywood, CA May 8, 2013 – Judith Miller Band wins Best Jazz Artist and Best Jazz Producer at the 2nd Annual Indie Music Channel Awards. Their winning single, "I Close My Eyes," is the work of front-woman Judith Miller and the late Jim Erickson.

"It's such a marvelous validation of my music, and it was a real honor to win, because there was some great talent nominated this year," says Miller.

Joe Gee sings back up and plays keyboard. Judith Miller covers lead vocals and percussion. Bassist Russ Harrison and drummer Chris Bennett round out the quartet, all currently residing in Austin, Texas.
