New Web Designer Joins Pittsburgh's Yellow Bridge Interactive

Yellow Bridge Interactive welcomed a new member, Kelsey Plank, to its close-knit team earlier this month. With Yellow Bridge, Plank's initial responsibilities will include designing and developing websites; coding, testing, and deploying websites; setting up, deploying, and maintaining Wordpress and Joomla websites; and transitioning existing websites onto the Wordpress or Joomla CMS platforms.

Plank was brought on board as a Website Designer for her impressive background in the field. Her interest in web design and development started in early high school, and she began learning basic HTML and CSS on her own by making themes for Xanga blogs. Her skill and interest continued to grow over the years as she branched out into other platforms and started designing and building more complicated websites. At that point, she decided to make a career out of web design.

Having worked for a range of companies as well as done freelance work, Plank comments, "I much prefer the laid-back, friendly atmosphere of small companies than the buttoned-up corporate world." As a three-member team, YBI is more than happy to hear that. With Plank, YBI will be able to take on even more clients while continuing to offer the same high-quality products and services that have always been a hallmark of their work.
