"The Tennessee Tucker Saga," a new book by John W. Lawson, has been released by RoseDog Books.

This story of a pioneer family in the timeless tradition of Louis L'Amour with a little Johnstone thrown in to spice things up.

Logan Tucker had grown up with a gun in his hand from the time he could remember, so, when he finds a man who had been back shot and was dying, he is given a pistol, gun belt and the strangers horse for trying to help him. Shortly after, his family moves to Texas and Logan has to put his pistol to work to stay alive. The Tuckers have no backup in them so, when trouble starts, they stand ready to take care of business. The Tuckers had been feuding with the Parkers for over fifty years until the civil war brought the two families together. Both are tough families that intend to overcome whatever comes their way.

About the Author:
Born in Moultrie, GA, on July 16, 1946, John W. Lawson grew up in Tallahassee, FL. After being injured and breaking his back in an accident in the late 70s, he moved just outside of Pensacola, FL in a log cabin he built in the middle of 30 acres on Perdido River.
