This book aims to bring to the attention of children and adults the importance of honey bees, the precarious state they are in, and the danger of disease that varroa mites, other pesticides, and natural enemies bring to the species, as well as the effect this can have on the existence of humans as a whole and how amazing these little insects really are. This book endeavors to describe how easy it is to keep your own honey bees, help to save them, and also to enhance the lives of humans worldwide. Honey bees are one of the most endangered species on the planet, and everyone needs to know and do something about it.

Jef Urquhart is a Senior Survey Engineer working world-wide. He is a native of Edinburgh Scotland. He is a Bachelor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and has been an Incorporated Engineer for over 14 years. Plus an Engineer for 38 years. He was a member of the IIE, IEE and IET for over 22 years. His main love is Singing!!
