New Podcast From Iowa's Ambient/Electronica Pioneers

Ambient/electronica musician Mark Rushton, who has been releasing his music via podcasts for the past year, has a new podcast featuring four pieces of music recorded during the month of November in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids.

The new tracks include edits of Signed Away, Provenance, Wintergarden Symphony, and The Light Will Never Be The Same Again. The entire podcast is about 23 minutes long and can be downloaded at http://podcast.markrushton.com

Rushton, along with bass player Jon Harnish, performed Provenance and Wintergarden Symphony outside in the Pedestrian Mall area of downtown Iowa City on Sunday, November 13th. Rushton and Harnish, along with singer Duke Lancaster, performed Signed Away and The Light Will Never Be The Same Again in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, November 19th.

On Saturday, December 3rd, Mark Rushton will be doing a solo set at the Very Cherry Open House, in the Cherry Building, located at 329 10th Ave SE, in the New Bohemia section of downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Music starts around noon and he'll have his CDs available for purchase.
