"Colors of Zaki", a new book by Shalen Holt, has been released by RoseDog Books. "Colors of Zaki" (pronounced Zaw-kee) is a colorful tale about a young zebra on his adventure to find happiness.

After seeing a rainbow, Zaki no longer wants to be black and white. He wants to become RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, and even PURPLE! He will stop at nothing to become colorful.

This story teaches the idea that anyone can become anything if they believe in themselves. The story takes the reader on a journey of trial and error and teaches children to pursue their dreams despite any problems or troubles that may arise.

About the Author:
Shalen Holt is an inspiring and driven artist. He completed his first children's book, "Colors of Zaki", at the age of 18. He wrote this story to inspire children to believe in themselves.

Born and raised in Los Lunas, New Mexico, Shalen is currently a full time college student majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Advertising and Marketing. He is determined to make an impact on the world in a positive and uplifting way.
