Cipher CEO to Teach at Johns Hopkins in January

Peter McKenney to teach first course in new Competitive Intelligence certificate program. In this course students will apply analytical and socio-technical techniques that greatly improve organizational decision making as related to CI, and will gain a full understanding of the issues related to the collection, analysis, and management of external information. This valuable knowledge can immediately be put to use by students in the professional marketplace.

In addition to his work with both public and private sector clients, Mr. McKenney speaks extensively in the field of strategic research. His work concentrates on linking proven methods for competitive intelligence and knowledge management to corporate strategy as applied to traditional line of business functions. A native of Massachusetts, Mr. McKenney served in the US Naval Submarine force, is a certified nuclear engineer and holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
