REIA, the Real Estate Investors Association of Washington, has dedicated their Seattle REIA Chapter to Commercial and Multi-Family Real Estate Investing. REIA offers unparalleled excellence in both education and networking for real estate investors throughout the Puget Sound in Washington State and will continue that tradition in its enhanced commercial offerings.

"Many real estate investors tell us their ultimate goal is passive income through commercial and multi-family investing." says REIA President Shirley Henderson, "REIA, through its Seattle REIA Commercial Chapter and the REIA association as a whole, is increasing education and networking opportunities to help investors meet those goals."

Toward that end REIA welcomes Greg Wendelken, commercial and multi-family investing expert, to its Seattle REIA Commercial Chapter meeting this month. According to Shirley Henderson, "Greg Wendelken is one of REIA's most popular educators. Greg brings a wealth of knowledge and experience coupled with an ability to make learning and staying up to date on market trends easy."

Greg Wendelken serves as a Senior Broker for Summerfield Commercial, a local office assisting clients through brokerage, management, construction, consulting and asset management in commercial and multi-family transactions.

Prior to joining Summerfield, Greg served as Vice-President, Regional Manager and National Director of the National Self Storage Group of Marcus & Millichap. The Seattle office, under Greg's management direction from 1998 to 2011, closed in excess of $6 Billion in Investment Sales with the majority of sales being apartments and retail.

Before joining the management ranks, Greg Wendelken was a Senior Investment Sales Associate with Marcus & Millichap where he closed nearly 100 million dollars of investment properties, specifically specializing in the sale of apartment properties throughout the Western United States.

In addition to offering education from Greg Wendelken and other exceptional educators at its Seattle REIA Commercial Chapter, REIA Continuing Education events will be offered to provide many aspects of "real world" commercial and multi-family teaching that can otherwise be difficult to find. Most REIA events are "pitch free" without the added pressure of product sales that can distract from learning and are resultantly more conducive to getting deals done.

"REIA is excited to ramp up the commercial and multi-family Seattle REIA Chapter", says REIA CEO Fox Henderson, "Many in REIA are active commercial and apartment investors. We look forward to seeing many more in REIA's growing Membership join the ranks of those transitioning successfully to passive income through commercial and apartment investing."

REIA will host Greg Wendelken for an evening event at the Seattle REIA Commercial Chapter in July 2013. REIA Main and Chapter meetings, including the Seattle REIA Commercial Chapter, offer exceptional networking opportunities with other real estate investors at all levels of real estate investing experience in a variety of areas of interest. Registrations are strongly recommended.
