"Short Stories: A Collection of Short Stories for Children" a new book by Ariel, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

In some ways, the world of pets and children will always share a link, a special time when the happiest moments of one come at the joy of having the other around.

Marilyn Hall's "Short Stories: A Collection of Short Stories for Children" focuses on this unique dynamics. A lively dog, Goodboy, shares its joy of living with humans, as it also tells them how best to look after pets.

In another instance, a lovely parakeet has to resort to a surprising ability after an incident almost cost it its life.

And then there are the children's tales that bring into focus the issues of trust, humility, and friendship.
