About the Author:
Christina Mayumi Tamura and her son Mark live in Tokyo, Japan, where Christina is a writer.

Christina graduated from the language department of Dokkyo University, and she also studied at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon; taught American English pronunciation in a missionary school in Tokyo for ten years; helped found the Japanese language curriculum course in a primary school in Australia; and then continued studying at New York University Graduate School.

When she is not writing, Christina Mayumi Tamura enjoys reading, walking, and talking with Nature. "My Dear Grasshopper" is her first published book.
