Relieve Music Benefit in Dallas 11/22/2013

Relieve is a unique music benefit featuring major headliners and local Dallas support. The event is organized by ATB Collective and hosted at Sandaga 813 on 11/22/2013. The event is a fundraising event supporting Althea Estey's fund http://www.gofundme.com/HelpingAlthea

Althea Estey was recently rendered a quadriplegic in a bizarre home accident. Her physicians have guarded hope that she can regain the use of her hands with time and therapy, and will also be able to resume her artistic pursuits, but it will be a long time coming. Medicare paid for her basic hospital and nursing home bills; Medicaid is covering some of her in-home nursing care and wheelchair but Althea's other resources are extremely limited. Her fundraiser is in place to raise money for the proper wheelchair lift, modifications to her home and a wheelchair-ready van for transportation.
