Huntington Beach, California, November 13, 2013 – Max Alavi, Attorney at Law and Partner at Alavi & Broyles, LLP, presented at the It's Your Estate Fall 2013 Workshops in Huntington Beach, California on September 12, 2013. Mr. Alavi's workshop entitled Estate Planning Basics, focused on the basic structure and elements of estate planning and gave attendees a guided look into the essential aspects of a well-planned estate. The presentation addressed a wide variety of topics including wills, will substitutes, joint tenancy, gifting, living trusts, probate, probate costs, and durable powers for medical and financial decisions. Mr. Alavi took questions from the attendees throughout the program.

Mr. Alavi commented on the success of the workshop: "It's an honor and a pleasure to join the It's Your Estate Workshops faculty. This program is the best program available at no cost to Orange County residents on estate planning. It's Your Estate/Money Workshops is a program of Financial & Estate Literacy, Inc., a 501c3 charitable organization under the leadership of Peter Kote. Its mission is to provide the resources people need to make confident financial, estate, and charitable decisions. The Fall 2013 program featured specialized presentations given by various financial and legal experts between early September and mid November at select locations throughout Orange County. The workshops are designed to give attendees important information regarding finances and estate planning without the pressure that typical seminars of this nature can produce. Guest speakers do not receive attendees' names or personal information and no professional services are sold.
