Orlando Dermatologist Adds New Venus Legacy® Treatments for Non-Invasive Body Contouring

Orlando, Florida   January 15, 2014   Health News
(PRLEAP.COM) Orlando dermatologist, Farooq Lateef, MD, of Orlando Dermatology Inc., is now offering Venus Legacy non-invasive body contouring treatments at his practice. Dr. Lateef has always believed that technology helps him bring better service and care to his patients, and was excited to adopt the Venus Legacy system because of the comfort and results it produces.

"The Venus Legacy is similar to treatments like microdermabrasion and chemical peels, but our focus at Orlando Dermatology is to be as non-invasive as possible," Dr. Lateef said. "One of the reasons I chose to bring this system to my practice is because the treatment and skin stimulation feels more like a deep-tissue massage than a skin treatment."

The Venus Legacy system can be used to treat a number of common skin concerns including cellulite, frown lines, loose skin and stretch marks. The system uses a combination of radio frequency and magnetic pulses to smooth and shape the skin by stimulating the growth of collagen and improving blood flow. Currently, Orlando Dermatology is offering Venus treatments in conjunction with another popular non-invasive procedure-micro needling-because they target the same needs. Micro needling helps rejuvenate any part of the face and body, including the breasts, and is especially effective at healing scar tissue.

Patients interested in learning more about Venus Legacy treatments and how the system works can also visit Orlando Dermatology's website packed with information about various medical, laser and skin treatments. Other services offered at Orlando Dermatology include:

  • Equinox CO2 Fractional Laser System
  • Laser Hair Removal
  • Radiesse®

  • "We're excited to be offering Venus Legacy to our patients. This technology produces excellent results and fits in with our commitment to provide top-notch comfort to all of our visitors at Orlando Dermatology," Dr. Lateef said.
