Nintendo DS Released Across North America.

The awnser to the question is unclear. Whilst many were able to walk into stores nationwide today and pick up there Nintendo DS's, others are having to wait for Nintendo to produce more.

The demand is so big that some retailers are only honouring pre-orders that were made back in March at the initial release.
