New York’s Midtown International Theatre Festival now seeking scripts.

The sixth annual Midtown International Theatre Festival created by John Chatterton, publisher and editor of “The Off- Off Broadway Review”, is looking for diverse and eclectic scripts in all genres, from drama and comedy, to one-person works, performance art, dance and musicals.

The Festival takes place in Manhattan, near Times Square. In the past the festival has utilized many theatres around the area to create a community of on going theatre from play writes worldwide. This year, the Festival will be using the Workshop Theatre Co. and the Where Eagles Dare Theatre. Both located in 36th Street.

The Festival will be held in New York City from Monday, July 17, 2006 until Sunday, August 6, 2006. The deadline for submissions is February 20, 2006. To submit, you must fill out an application.
