San Antonio Accounting Firm Announces Free Business Consulting and Advisory Service for New Clients

Mark Wood, CPA, owner of Mark Wood, CPA in San Antonio, Texas, recently announced a new service he is offering to his business owner clients. In offering the new Business Consulting and Advisory Service, Wood wanted to be able to help business owners understand how their business compares to similar businesses, provide actionable steps to resolve possible financial dangers earlier and suggest improvements in key areas to put business owners in a better position to grow.

"Most business owners are simply too busy to dig up statistics about their competition, and they most likely don't have a background in finance. This is where our Business Consulting and Advisory Service can help and we offer this as a free service to new clients," Wood said.

The service begins with an industry-specific report that takes into account the performance of similar businesses to show the client where he or she stands. The report analyzes key areas of the client's business including liquidity, profits and profit margin, sales, borrowing, assets and employees and then translates the information into a meaningful, plain-language report.

"We also go over this report with the business owner, in-person, to see if we might find opportunities to improve the company's financial performance," Wood said. "Most business owners are concerned with things like having enough cash available to pay their employees at the end of the week, or paying their electric bill. With this service, we consider all of that information and then take a look at the big picture to provide you with steps for focusing the growth of your business."

Other services offered by Mark Wood, CPA include:

Tax Preparation
Small Business Accounting
Personal Financial Planning
