Anapol Schwartz Attorney to Raise Distracted Driving Awareness among Massachusetts Students

February 28, 2014 (PRLEAP.COM) Media News
Anapol Schwartz Shareholder and End Distracted Driving (EndDD.org) Founder Joel Feldman will join the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA) and the Medford Massachusetts School District to kick off the 2014 Massachusetts High School Distracted Driving Awareness Campaign at Medford High School on February 28.

Feldman will be doing a distracted driving presentation at 8:30 a.m. and will be joined by MATA President Mike Conley, Esq. and Immediate Past President Tim Kelleher, Esq.

A featured speaker is Emily Stein whose father was killed by a distracted driver in 2011. Stein is a Medford resident and a hospice nurse who speaks to students about her loss and is a focus of EndDD.org's PSA called "Just a few seconds…"

"I am thrilled to participate in this event," Feldman said. "The epidemic of distracted driving can only be cured through community outreach and education. Medford's commitment to keeping its community safe is just incredible. Having leaders in the community make such a strong statement gets attention and will save lives."

More than 5,000 Massachusetts students have seen an EndDD.org presentation, and many more are scheduled to participate this spring.

Medford Mayor McGlynn and Medford Superintendent of Schools Roy Belsen are hosting the event.
