Women's Festivals Empowering Women On March 7th, 8th

Santa Barbara CA, March 6th, 2014: Women and men from around the world are already making plans to attend the 2014 California Women's Festival which will be held on March 7th and 8th, at the Earl Warren Showgrounds, 3400 Calle Real in Santa Barbara, CA. Each year the Festival celebrates women in leadership and seeks to bring together amazing resources, inspiring speakers and wonderful entertainment. This year's theme, "Tech, Talk & Trade" spotlights individuals and organizations that focus on technology, advocacy, and local and/or international business.

Women's Festivals is a combination of networking, conference, expo and awards which brings together everything for the professional businesswoman under one umbrella. The speakers' list features inspirational women talking about issues of relevance to today's entrepreneurial women. Featured speakers scheduled to appear at this year's event include:

  • The Santa Barbara festival is focused on education that empowers women to expand networks interpersonally and virtually; effectively utilize various forms of technology to enhance their lives; use technology as a medium for change, progress, advocacy, and philanthropy; and encourage gender equality and female participation in the work force. Exhibits from Santa Barbara companies and event sponsors will touch on personal, business, spiritual and financial aspects. The Gutsy Gals Inspire Me© Awards and Reception will serve as an opportunity to meet inspiring women in the fields of business or community service.

    "This is one of the most important March festivals in the education and women empowerment movement," said Patty DeDominic, founder of the Women's Festivals. "We gather in March each year to commemorate Women's History Month and International Women's Day, address the crucial issues facing women in an interactive, meaningful and entertaining format, and provide fertile ground for networking, referrals, and resource sharing."
