Flex Academies Hosts Virtual Open House on March 13, 2014
March 10, 2014 Education News(PRLEAP.COM) Washington, DC (March 10, 2014) – Flex Academies, a leading provider of afterschool enrichment activities, is hosting a first-of-its-kind virtual open house that will present the best practices for managing a successful afterschool program. This online discussion will be offered on March 13th, 2014 at 11 am and 7 pm, at no charge. During the 30-45 minute conference, Flex Academies will discuss the important, long-term benefits of productive afterschool enrichment activities and the suggested guidelines for operating a successful afterschool program. These include implementing appropriate background checks, checking for insurance certificates, and evaluating the quality of the program offerings. Additionally, Flex Academies will discuss its own tools that ensure an effective afterschool program, such as a free community survey, an online registration system, and vendor safety checks.
Presenters at the conference will be Joshua Chernikoff, Founder and CEO of Flex Academies, and Bowden Skoff, Afterschool Activities Coordinator at Pyle Middle School, the largest middle school in Montgomery County.
