Celebrating Spring with Milne's At Home Antiques in Kingston NY

Breaking the Ice; Think Spring being held on March 30th at Milne's At Home Antiques is a wonderful chance to begin planning your container garden. Join the antique dealers for this Gardening Event, from 11 am to 2 pm and enjoy a light brunch while browsing their garden antiques just in from England and hear lectures about how to plant and enjoy your garden.

Judy Milne has been in the antique world for over 40 years and this year with her daughter Rebekah, traveled to England and brought back a wonderful collection of cast stone garden planters, urns, furniture and folk art for the garden. Along with Scott Zimmer, Garden Designer from Bergen County, New Jersey and Haynes Llewellyn an Interior Decorator from right here in Kingston the day will be filled with talks on Gardening, Decorating and how Antiques can add Whimsy and Rustic look to your garden.

The Milne family is excited to have Scott Zimmer at Milne for the day. Scott will be sharing his knowledge on "Gardens with Containers." Scott brings over 20 years of passion and hands-on gardening experience and formal training in architecture and fine arts. Six years ago he launched Zimmer Gardens and has worked in NJ, NYC and throughout Ulster and Dutchess County.

The Milne's are also happy to have Haynes Llewellyn attending, who will be talking about "Unique Eclectic Interiors and how to Bring Exterior Decorations indoors." Haynes, who brings over 24 years experience and has a degree in Interior Design, interned with the Curator of Decorative Arts for the Birmingham Museum of Art and studied at the Louvre in Paris. His design projects have scanned as far as Miami, Alabama, Washington DC and NYC.
