"Ruby on a Cockroach: Diamonds on a Spider," a new book by Allison Marie Payton, has been released by RoseDog Books.

Maria Sanchez, a high-class call girl in Barcelona, Spain, dreams of leaving her life of glitz, money, and men behind to find one true love, settle down, and live what she calls "a real life."

Oksana, a young woman brought up on a farm in Sussex, England, succeeds in her plot to marry into the wealthy family and world of Gilbert Pennington-Price. Gil has more creative ideas of a career than his lineage of prominent lawyers in the city of London, and he runs his own restaurant in Broadstairs, Kent.
Both women, driven by different desires, eventually collide when a dashing, mature Jack Hughes, a smuggler across borders, befriends each of them.

In a story of darkness, greed, and romance where magic, madness, and guiding visions lure us, we are taken on a fast-paced journey with the warning: Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.
