Mirasol Eating Disorder Recovery Centers is Proud to Announce the Hiring of David Anderson, PhD, as Executive Director

Tucson, AZ - Mirasol Eating Disorder Recovery Centers has hired David Anderson PhD, as Executive Director. David's responsibilities will include: overseeing the Mirasol staff, financial reporting, running the clinical day-to-day operations for Mirasol's Adult Residential Program, the Adolescent Residential Program for teens 12-17, the Intensive Outpatient Program for both Adults and Teens, and Mirasol's Partial Hospitalization program. April 30, 2014 is David's first day as the new Executive Director of Mirasol.

David comes to Mirasol with nearly 40 years of experience in the Behavioral Health industry. He most recently was the Director of Palo Verde Behavioral Health Services overseeing for the 48-bed level I psychiatric hospital. Prior positions include having served as both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Clinical Officer at the Crisis Response Center in Tucson, AZ; Director of the Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health and Neuroscience Lines at Carondelet St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson; and Executive Director of Sierra Tucson, a 140 bed inpatient addiction and behavioral health center in Catalina, AZ.

David has a PhD in Clinical and Community Psychology from the University of South Florida. He is also a licensed Arizona Psychologist.
